Wattlesborough Scout Group
Wattlesborough Scout Group is based in the village of Wattlesborough just outside Shrewsbury in Shropshire. The Wattlesborough Sections have been successfully running for a number of years now. The Group consists of a Beavers, Cubs and Scouts Section. Until recently the Wattlesborough Sections were part of a much larger Group known as the Rea Valley Scout Group which is still successfully running. As of April 2012, the Wattlesborough Sections have set up as a Group in our own right, and are now proudly known as Wattlesborough Scout Group.
The Wattlesborough Scout Group colours came about after much thought and deliberation. The unanimous decision from the outset was to have Royal Blue as the main colour, but there was initial indecision about the border colour as some wanted a bright colour, and others would have liked to incorporate emerald green, until after being blinkered into trying to choose one border, the two different opinion groups came with the idea of Royal Blue with 2 half inch borders, the inner being bright yellow, and the outer being emerald green. It was also felt that the three colours represented the three Sections. From this point on the decision was unanimous and we are proud to wear our new colours..
Who are we? And where are we from?
A new Group meant new necker colours!
